Most brands have standard settings and information that include: help and support, privacy policy, and terms and conditions. - A majority of the brands do not give users the option to manage devices. Only Netflix and Amazon have this feature for the purpose of tracking which devices users use their services on.

Users can opt in or out of being measured.
Hulu and YouTubeTV have recently (in July 2017) been included in Nielson’s TV ratings. They are taking advantage of this method to capture user metrics that factors TV streaming companies into the TV ratings equation. More brands should opt in to be measured so that show ratings can be measured more accurately. The Pew Research Center found that 61% of young adults in the U.S. primarily use online streaming to watch TV.
